Chief designer of the GEOIZOL Project (part of the GEOIZOL Group of Companies) Ivan Bogdanov at the seminar ” Innovations in road activities. Regulatory and technical support of innovations ” presented a report on the unique technology for the Russian market of vibration compaction with the use of columns made of inert materials.

The project of engineering protection of the “Tavrida” highway (carried out by the engineers of the GEOIZOL Project company) has been successfully implemented within the 7th stage of construction. This phase was the final one before the launch of a full-fledged traffic along a four-lane road from Kerch to Sevastopol. On August 28, 2020, Russian President Vladimir Putin opened traffic along the most important transport artery of Crimea.

On July, 5, an annual holiday was held in honor of the appearance of the Tikhvin Icon of the Mother of God over the waters of Lake Ladoga. As legend has it, the icon written in the 5th century, became famous for many miracles. An old church in honor of the Tikhvin Icon of the Mother of God with a garden in the village of Putilovo was rebuilt and recreated in 2011-2018 by the GEOIZOL Group of companies. Specialists of GEOIZOL Project developed a project to recreate the main building of the temple, which found a new life after 75 years of oblivion during the Soviet era. 

The State expertize of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation gave a positive review of the design documentation Reconstruction of Building 17 of the Southern protection wall in Kronshtadt. 

Ivan Bogdanov, Chief Designer of GEOIZOL Project (part of the GEOIZOL Group of Companies), took part in a video conference on the problems of stabilizing the base of the roadbed of the Arkhangelsk region in weak soils condition. The event was organized by the St. Petersburg Committee for Arctic Affairs. 

The construction of crushed stone piles (technology for improving soil characteristics) has started in the development area of the Bely Ostrov residential complex at the address: Beloostrovskaya str., 9.  GEOIZOL Project designers suggested the construction of crushed stone reinforcing elements with a diameter of 800 mm. This technology will provide the necessary characteristics for weak foundation soils. The foundation on solid ground is the key to the reliability and durability of the entire complex of buildings. 

During the construction of the Grand House residential complex underground cycle in the historical center of St. Petersburg (Telezhnaya street), specialists of GEOIZOL Project company together with  GPIKO company organized online geotechnical monitoring of the construction site.
