The measures carried out within the boundaries of the «Alpika-Service» ski resort and the Gazprom mountain tourist center («Laura» ski and biathlon complex) can be considered the most typical example of an integrated approach to ensuring engineering protection. The facilities designed by GEOIZOL Project engineers have been built. They have been operated for many years and they have proven their effectiveness.

Mudflow-retaining barrier

An example of a unique solution that has no analogues in Russia is also a mudflow-retaining barrier 360 meters long, designed to protect a section at km 17 of the federal highway R-297 “Amur” in the Trans-Baikal Territory. The project has passed the examination. It will be implemented in the near future as part of the overhaul of the road.
